THE NEW YEAR'S EVE

A week after Christmas.. it’s new year’s eve…

Location : Bintaro
Time : 9.00 onwards (people stayed up ‘till 1.30 a.m., but I had to keep awake until 4.00 a.m.!!)
Food : all kinds of ‘gorengan’, durians, Xmas cookies, rambutan.
Drinks : white & red wines, chocolate liquors and home-made ginger drinks (= wedang jahe gituuuh..)
Entertainment: dvd of family gatherings, dvd of Nini’s gathering with her ‘manula’ friends (oooh, boriiing,, Sorry Ni, we all agree to watch it some other time.. Hehe…), other dvd (real movies, this time), trumpets, fireworks..

tHe diNneR

Before having the new year’s gathering, my hubby and I went for a end-year dinner. We were at Mas J’s at Jurangmangu in the afternoon, and took a leap first to Boka Buka, a French restaurant at Cipete, before going back to Bintaro for the gathering.

It was quiet full at Boka Buka. Luckily there’s a table-for-two left for us.
We ordered sliced beef with mushroom sauce and beef steak. The steak was so tasty and juicy. It was well grilled!! Yummy…!!

And we were also luckily given a bottle of red wine by Mas J. The wine, which is very impressive, made the dinner so perfect!

Merry Xmas

Merry Xmas everyone…

Pagi ke pondok gede dan natalan di sana.. walaupun sebenernya kalo dihitung-hitung jumlah yang nggak natalan lebih banyak daripada yang natalan di sana.. hehe..
Menunya kurang lebih nasi kebuli dan kambing goreng, bakwan malang, ikan menado, daging lada hitam.. dari sabang sampai merauke deh.. hehehe… ditambah kuwe tart dari chika, ponakanku, yang ultah ke-2..

Trus, pulang sore-sore.. siap-siap untuk natalan part II di Bintaro, tempat oomkyu yang sementara lagi menetap di sana. Ngopi dulu di Bakoel Koffie bintaro... pusing gitu rasanya ketemu banyak orang dan mondar-mandir sibuk gitu..

Sampe Bintaro, trus mandi-mandi sambil nunggu yang lainnya datang. Waa,, rame juga tahun ini.. Terus ada banyak banget kado di bawah pohon natal,, although none is for me. Hehe..
Just like in movies.. but that time was real..!!
